Agency Focus Connor Insurance Becomes First XE User Connor Insurance Agency has enjoyed a long, rich history in Clintonville, Ohio, a quaint suburb north of Columbus. It was first founded in 1930 by Jim Connor’s grandfather as a State Auto insurance agency. Jim joined the agency in 1978 and is now the owner.
Jim first began using the SIS Partner system back in 1996, just one year after the system was launched. He explained that as a small agency, the program’s cost-effectiveness was the main reason he selected Partner.
“From the beginning, I liked Partner because it was extremely user-friendly,” Jim said. “We picked it up very quickly and with very little training.”
This winter, Connor Insurance Agency became the first Partner user to convert to the XE system.
“The transition was relatively seamless,” Jim explained. “The SIS staff was very supportive and responsive to our needs.”
The marketing capability is one of Jim’s favorite new features of XE. A small firm of two employees, Connor Insurance Agency writes mainly personal lines of insurance but is looking to expand into commercial lines. Partner XE’s marketing function will greatly support this endeavor.
The integration of Partner XE is also a great improvement for Jim’s agency. Connor Insurance Agency shares space with another firm called Ohio Insurance Group LLC. Partner XE allows the two to cover for one another when they are out of the office.
“It’s very helpful that anyone in the office can pull up my schedule through Partner XE and arrange an appointment for me while I’m out,” Jim said.
In addition, Jim says another great improvement with Partner XE is that the downloads are more streamlined.
“I’ve seen the SIS team consistently improve the XE system as we go, and I’m looking forward to utilizing the many improvements.” |
