Danvers, MA-based Phil Richard Insurance was founded by Phil and his wife Patti in 1988. The independent, full-service agency is truly family-owned, with Phil as owner, Patti as CFO, and daughters Jacqui and Jordan also working for the agency.
This first-generation agency has always been ahead of the curve. “Having a vision for the future continues to contribute to our success,” said Phil of the agency, “It is important to us that we are always looking a little bit further down the road, thinking about how to remain a viable, profitable entity.” But, when it came to their agency management system, the Richards were having trouble finding a system and provider that fit their nimble, innovative business.
Enter SIS and Partner XE. When Phil saw a Partner XE demonstration at the Massachusetts Agent’s Convention in Boston, he got connected – even though the agency had just switched to a new, big name provider. After only two years it was clear they still needed a new solution. He and his staff were sold.
